you ever wonder why...

there are huge tires stacked up against the box????

Well Friday you get to find out!!

For time:

100 tire flips with jumps

To execute this properly, you bend down, clean the tire, push it over, jump into the center , jump out and over the other side, then run back around the tire to the side you started, clean it, push it over, jump into the center, jump over the other side, etc.

We'll scale by pairing people up on a tire as required. Since we now have 8 tires we should be able to get this done in a couple of iterations.

That workout seems hard! Just got back from the pool; did 20 laps. Don, are you off tomorrow? I have a four day weekend!!!!

Yup, I have a 4-day as well. I also have a 4-day next weekend but I'll be up in Fort Worth judging the regions qualifiers for the CrossFit Games.

The tire flipping workout is a really good one. The average time is around 20 minutes for people flipping a 250# tire solo.

Hey guys the tires are new from DOL. They are kind of messy so please wear older workout clothes becuase they will get dirty or greasy

Yes! I have a 4-day too. I'm gonna need the xtra day to recover and doing the 5K in Killeen on Saturday. And to top it off, I'm taking my APFT on Tuesday.

Thanks for the advice on the old clothes, Dave! Should we wear gloves as well?

You can bring some gloves if you want - up to you.

Twitter is a social networking site that limits you to 120 words (I think).

Thanks, the fire flipping pic was taken about this time last year, whilst I was in Afghanistan.

Don,

The wife wants me to hang out with her today; won't be able to make it. However, I will do something related to CF this PM...

Gracias,

I made up the Fri. tire-flipping workout Sat. since I had a court-martial all day. My time was 17:52 but I used the smaller size tire.

I have to be out of town Mon. but I'll check the blog for the WOD and make it up before Wed. Thanks for putting this together guys!
