What Is CrossFit?
CrossFit is a
strength and conditioning system built on constantly varied,
functional movements
executed at high intensity.
Our programming is designed to
elicit as broad an adaptational
response as possible. CrossFit is
not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical
competence in each of ten recognized fitness domains. They are Cardiovascular
and Respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed,
Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy.
CrossFit
increases work capacity across broad time and modal and age domains. This far-reaching
increase in work capacity supports our initially stated aims of building a
broad, general, and inclusive fitness program.
