You use them for assisted pull-up as they offset some of your body weight. kind of like a gravitron but better as they will also allow you to learn kipping.
I'm so pumped to get my pull up band! I wish I could have bought a med ball and a kettle bell, oh so pricey! Oh and a box....but I think my husband woulda been a little pissed with all that gear around the house:)
Can't wait for Monday....good job on the push up workout!
I have 2 bands. Hold off on buying any until we get the pull-up station in and begin working your kipping pull-ups. If you can do 10 regular pull-ups, we should have you doing kipping ones pretty quickly without any bands.

How do the bands helps one improve the pull up event?

Can I request we do Nancy soon???
Overhead squats, 15 reps
400m run
5 rounds for time.
Well, since we worked on OHS (overhead squats) on Friday, we might be up for some Nancy this week....
Do I need to buy the bands, or you have enough for everyone?

Hey guys, awesome workout! Back from Vegas, and we did Josh for the WOD. I used bands for the pullups and it helped.
